Hi!
I am currently following the television version shown on Channel 8, so some of my questions might be answered eventually so please excuse me.
My first question is: Is MDWAV III a direct continuation of MDWAV II? It does seem so yet it does not. At the end of MDWAV II, Fusheng was told by the 'angel' to write new chapters in the 'Holy Book', and it is assumed that whatever is written inside will be what will happen eventually.
However, things became different in MDWAV III. Fusheng does not have such a responsiblity anymore, and his 'girlfriend' disappeared too...
Actors acting in MDWAV II recur in MDWAV III.
Most of them were cleverly added through the time travelling parts and hence even though they are the same actors they are not the same characters and can even be explained as the past-lives of the old characters. However, there are still some parts that seems confusing.
Take Mr. X, for example. Is he in any way related to Tang Ben Jing or are they separate characters? If he were the next-life of Tang Ben Jing, then he couldn't have grown so quickly with 3 years (2001 in MDWAV II and 2004 MDWAV III)...
Of course, actors can be the same and the characters does not necessarily need to be the same or even related. But this will only work if the characters from MDWAV II were not shown, and they were, right at the beginning. As soon as they are shown, their likeness will be assumed for those characters.
Likewise, Fusheng didn't seem surprise when he saw Wan Yuan BuPo... no 'Situ Fenren?!!' exclamations... this exclaimation would have been appropriate since BuPo is the past-life of Shanben Yifu from whom Situ Fenren is cloned and hence they are the one and the same.

Anyone noticed that the most powerful character in previous series become second-rate in the next part? In MDWAV, Shanben Yifu was the most powerful. In MDWAV II, his power-factor is reduced, taken over by Vampire Commander. In MDWAV III, even the vampire commander has to take second-place along with the entire Pangu Tribe, with Yaochi Shengmu being the most powerful.
A bit unsettling to see that the Vampire Commander has been reduced to one of Pangu's 'gu hun ye gui' (to quote the VC himself). The glorious VC does not seem glorious after all...
Still, I wonder how Yaochi Shengmu could kill Pangu, who are supposedly magnitudes more powerful than Shengmu.
But then... they are both red-eyed vampires sent from heaven, and that means they are also Pangu members and not servants of the Pangu tribe.

Nuwa. Does she meet the Vampire Commander (VC) in MDWAV III? It seems now at the time when Man was created Nuwa met TWO vampires, one Renwang and the other VC, both of which are presumably of equal power(*).
In MDWAV II, Nuwa does not know VC was actually sent by Pangu to watch over her. In MDWAV III, if VC were also around, does she know? She should know from the red eyes and fangs as Renwang possesses the same traits.
Or does Nuwa even meet VC at all? Could their love story be completely neglected by the writers in MDWAV III?
Oh yah... Nuwa doesn't look the MDWAV II's Nuwa. And neither does VC. But since they appear only briefly, it is understandable... right?
(*) Perhaps Renwang is more powerful than VC? VC was the most powerful character in MDWAV II (except perhaps Nino?) Now we know VC is just part of Pangu, and so is Renwang. Within Pangu there could be members with different levels of powers... I don't know if what I said is clear... sorry about this.

There were more questions... but can't think of them at this moment. Perhaps they are none after all. Heheh...
