hello i'm new here. i've just finished watching this series and i like this so much. but i hav 1 question, i watch all 3 parts in Vietnamese and the HK ending i watched is in Cantonese and i'm not Chinese so i dont understand wat it is about. so can anyone tell me wat happened in the end of that ending? did Tin You bite Xiao Ling and turn her into a vampire?

Hi there.. Firstly, I would like the extend a warm welcome to you for joining us in this forum! (Haha, actually its quite rare to see someone new here now..=p)

Anyway, I hope I can be able to answer your question.

Regarding to the HK ending, it remains a mystery whether Tian You has bitten Xiao Ling or not. There are some fans out there who claimed that Tianyou did bite Xiaoling as there was a sign of pain shown on Xiaoling's face when Tian You did the action of biting her.

There have been many guesses and rumours around the web, (Please read our other topics relating to the ending). There was a section which says "So did Xiaoling dead in the end?"

Basically, a recap, the HK ending is like this:

Tianyou brought Xiaoling to a church (where they agreed to have their marriage) after she fainted.
Then came in those talking scenes....until Xiao ling felt weak and tumbled down in front of Tian You.
Tian You knew that Xiaoling is going to die, and he did not want her to leave him. Thus, he was in a dilema whether to bite Xiaoling into a vampire or not.

On one hand, he did not bear to see Xiaoling suffering as a vampire. On another hand, he did not want Xiao ling to leave him.

And the HK ending was basically a decision that Tian You made. He bared his fangs, and with tears in his eyes, he slowly moved his fangs nearer to Xiaoling's neck....and .... ......

Yeah, its like this. I guess the director of the show wanted us fans to have some imagination on what is the ending. He wanted to leave a trail of mystery...whether Tian You has bitten Xiao Ling?

Thus, thats the reason why this question is often mentioned amongst fans.

oh ok, thx a lot for clarifying. but before XL died, i thought i heard her said the name of their daughter, Tin Ngai i think, is it right? so wat's the purpose of saying that? is it that XL want to give birth to Tin Yai?

i just wish that the script writer can continue to write MDWAV 4, just only 1 more part to clarify that ending and 1 that has the happy ending for XL and TY 'coz they already suffered a lot and they're worth for a happy life together. so sad that he has stopped writting. hope Joey would encourage him to right 1 more part T____T

Haha.. =P Yes, XL indeed mentioned the name of their (future) daughter, Tin Ngai. In that scene, both Tian You and Xiao Ling were both talking about their future. While Xiao Ling was cuddled up in TIan You's arms....

Tian You:"Lets have a daughter."
Xiao Ling:"And her name is Tin Ngai".

Haha, I guess the purpose of them saying was because both of them wanted to think of the good times they are going to have in the future, despite Xiaoling's fatal illness.
and yes, Xiao ling wanted to give birth to Tin Ngai..


From my own point of view actually, I think that Tian You got bite Xiao ling, cos its the only way that Xiaoling will remain alive, then to give birth to Tin Ngai.
If she wasn't being bitten, she would have died, n Tin Ngai won't be existing...which means no MDWAV 4?!

Hahaha, yeh...we hope that MDWAV IV will come out soon! I believe many fans would love to see the happinness and love between Tian You n Xiao Ling in the future series...=D

thx again for clarifying ^^ i read somewhere that the Immortal Love, which is now considered MDWAV4 is about their daughter Tin Ngai right? so if XL died then that MDWAV4 doesn't fit anything at all.

and me too, from my point of view i also think TY did bite XL 'coz i heard the bitting sound. i finished all 3 parts and now i'm feeling really bored 'coz there's no part 4. beside wanting to see XL and TY again, i also want to see Tin Ngai, which is acted by Kylie, she's so cute ^^ do u know any film that she acts beside MDWAV 3?

oh yeah, and 1 more question, aren't TY and XL suppose to forget about Tin Ngai 'coz they hav changed the future? why can they remember about Tin Ngai again? that's confusing!!! *___* and about Sky, he's the only 1 beside Fu Shen (dont know how to spell *___*) dont die, at least we know Fuc Sen in the end but we didn't know anything about him after Tin Ngai disappeared.

and also about XL, when they are fighting with Yun Wong, XL was a vampire at that time, but after Tin Ngai disappeared, XL becomes normal again, so is she a normal person or a vampire at the end? and if she's already a vampire then how can TY bite her to make her become a vampire again?

and another question (sry, too much question *___*) wat did Fuc Sen say in the end?

Wow,okie, Haha, I shall try to answer your questions! =p

Firstly, Immortal Love is NOT MDWAV4....I hope to clarify this to as many fans as possible. China has been reproducing an old Singapore Mediacorp (formerly known as TCS) film "Immortal love" aka Bu Lao Chuan Shuo as MDWAV 4. In actual fact, this immortal love has absolutely nothing to do with MDWAV at all. And to make things clearer, Immortal Love is a 1997 film! So, how could it be MDWAV4?
In fact, MDWAV4 hasn't even come out yet. All those that are travelling around in the web which claimed to be MDWAV4 are untrue. People photoshopped the cover of Immortal Love to make it into MDWAV.

And yeah! I do think Kylie is cute too. And we have a major fan of kylie in this forum, which is *ahem* Dagpeter. Haha, he will go crazy once you mention about her. =p Yeah, some shows that Kylie acted are "Xia Gu Ren Xin", "Tian Sha", "Mei Li Chuan shuo zhi Xin Yuan", "Wei Xian Ren Wu" and "Xi You Ci Li" (which is latest)

and another answer to your question. Yes, Xiao Ling and TY had already forgotten their daughter after the future has been changed. However, one thing that is inevitable/ cannot be changed is that Tin Ngai will be their daughter no matter what.
After Xiaoling had changed the history, both she and TY did not remember her anymore, but they had the sudden feeling that a close kin had left them the moment Tin Ngai vanished. Remember the part (before they declare war of Ren Wang and Sheng Mu), both of them had tears in their eyes? Haha, they did not even know why they are crying.
I think its the HK ending that confused you the most, because XiaoLing said "and her name is Tin Ngai" after TY told her that they are going to have a daughter.

Actually, at that point of time, Xiaoling and TY did not even remember the past they had with Tin Ngai. To them, Tin Ngai has never existed before. Thus, how can they possibly remember their daughter?

IN the church of the HK ending, (after the history had changed), what Xiaoling meant was that she wanted to call their child "Tin Ngai". Regardless of how the history has changed, Tin Ngai will be forever fated to be their daughter.

As for Sky, well, I guess the writer just missed him out. Haha..rumours have it that MDWAV 4 will be about SKY and Tin Ngai. Thus, I guess the writer wanted to leave it to MDWAV4. (If ever there is)

And lastly for your answer about the XL becoming vampire:
Actually, after Tin Ngai's disappearance, XL became a human again. She did not even knew she had been a vampire before because history and future has been changed. If history has changed, Tin Ngai din even exist, and XL won't get bitten. Remember that the bite was from Tin Ngai and it was her who made XL a vampire?
XL is 100% human. Haha. That gives TY a reason to bite her.

and as for Fusheng, he was actually repeating the lines from the first episode. Roughly, he was saying about the existence of love between XL and TY, and how their love story gets to travel down...

oh thx a lot, now i understand ^^ by the way, last night after finished typing this and went to sleep, i remember that from MDWAV1, if a vampire died, then the people who were biten by that vampire will become a human again so i knew the answer but thx a lot for answering this ^^

and about Tin Ngai, remember 1 sentence in the series: "although the memory is lost but the love is still there." so that's why they still know about Tin Ngai ^^

i always think that the reason why they left the ending like this is because they want to make MDWAV 4 and i think many people here think so too. it has a lot of confusing thing that we all need the next part to clear everything, but then 13 stopped writing, that's so sad, hope he could change his mind in a near future.

so now everything for MDWAV3 is clear, thx ^^ and return to the end of MDWAV2, isn't in the end of that has a little girl name Maggie or Marry (watever name i dont remember *___*)? Fu Sheng said he'll take care of her but she disappeared in MDWAV3, a hole there

oh, almost forgot, 1 more question, they say in the series that Ma family's blood can't mix with vampire, so if Tin You did bite XL then will be become mad or die or something? *___*

and out of all 3 parts, i love the 2nd one the best, it has a good plot, less or almost no confusion and a happy ending (thinking that is it when 13 wrote MDWAV2, he's going to marry with Joey so he feels happy and wrote the end like that ? lol, just kidding ^^)

wow Kylie acts in quite many series ^^ and through some pictures and the clip of the show Who Want To Be A Millionare? i watched on Youtube, it seems like Kylie and Joey's relationship are close ^^ maybe 'coz Kylie is so cute and nice so Joey like her ^^ and as i rewatch MDWAV3, i see that somehow Kylie really looks alike Joey

Haha, and for your question on the XL vampire...Yes, XL will go into a stage of madness if she is bitten by TY. Cos Ma's blood cannot clash with that of a vampire's. XL will only go mad, but will not die so easily. Remember that XL always say that no matter how close you are to the person, you MUST kill them and not be soft-hearted when he/she becomes a vampire. Thats what she said before she went into the stage of madness..

AND HAHAHAHAHAHA...I really want to laugh when you told me about the Chan 13 thinking of marrying Joey when he wrote the MDWAV2 ending! Thats really hilarious! hahaha...Ya! that might be a possiblity! haha, and I have another mischievous thought. Won't Chan 13 feel jealous when he kept writing kissing scenes for eric and joey? Especially in MDWAV3 when both of them kissed in the ending..Hahha.. =P oops!

and I do so agree with you! MDWAV2 is the best of the best! I absolutely love MDWAV2 so much that I kept rewatching it countless times.. and I am going to watch it soon if I have the time! Yeah!! I also watched the Who wants to be a Millionaire, starring Kylie and Joey! They were indeed a perfect "Mother and daughter"..hahhaa..they really seem to be good friends! and Yeah! I did notice the resemblance between kylie and joey too! I really tink Kylie is suitable to fit the role of XL's daughter since they have something in their face that makes them look alike in some angles..haha! Nice obervation, though!! =D

thx again ^^ i really like to read ur posts. these days after finished watching all 3 parts, i always feel "uneasy" and "uncomfortable" inside, feel like missing something T____T (maybe 'coz the ending is too ..... *___*) and i also didn't understand the HK ending so that made me like ... crazy. but after talking to you, everything becomes clearer and now i feel better again ^^

and yeah, i also agree, who wants to see their wife/husband kissing passionately with the other guy/woman? ^^ but anyway, 'coz they're wife/husband of an actor/actress, so i think they need to put aside everything to support their wife/husband and also not disappointing us ^^ just 1 more, 1 last part of MDWAV with a very happy ending to make a good impression forever in us fans, so dont be that "selfish" 13 T_____T lol ^^
