I don't see any scientific evidence that the day you are born, you are dead. This is a very philosophical question. Approach it scientifically you find me making lots of walls for you to bang your head on. Are you going to tell me that because humans are born to die, so the day you are born means you are dead because you are stepping closer to death? And that any percentage of being shrouded by death, the being shall be considered dead?
