I am starting a free tution course for primary school education. the subjects which are available for tutoring are English Language, Mathematics, Primary 4 science and onwards, and primary school social studies. bro, what kind of tuition are you going to give with the kind of O Level results you achieved, if those are the same results as what you posted in the other thread. i can affirm with you right here and right now that no parent is going to allow their child to be tutored by a stranger who did not score As for their O Level.based on your results, you can only really be taken seriously if you offer English tuition, for which you scored A2 for. really, i feel its blasphemous for you to be this proud of your O Level results which are not so stellar at all. i am not saying it is a crime to be proud of your O Level results no matter what they are, but this is really too much. i know many people who have better results than you do and they don't go around bragging about how many As or Bs they got. yet you are flaunting the miserable Cs and Ds which everybody tries so hard to avoid. fancy offering to teach subjects like Mandarin, Mathematics, Science and Humanities given the results you have, especially in Maths! which parent will let their child be tutored by somebody who scored D7 for Mathematics at O Level! even for free, this is really another issue altogether. with your kind of results, and offering to tutor primary school kids for free, who knows what you might be up to!  i know i did say that "Grades are not a true reflection of a person's ability", but that doesn't mean that grades aren't important! wisen up boy. there is no free lunch in this world. |

Erm... I wouldn't denied dagpeter's skill in tutoring, he has been conducting free tutoring in church, and many children benefit from him. Let's just take 1 case that I have known that displayed dagpeter's skill in tutoring -
there is this primary 6 girl who fail her math every year with mark less than 35, but when dagpeter taught her last year, she passed all her math tests and examinations, and even got a A in PSLE.
Therefore, this prove that dagpeter product great result in tutoring. I can deny him in all aspect, but when it come to tutoring and writing, he has the passion, talent, and skill to climb the ladder.

i do not know what he tutors like, but from the attitude he displays on the forum, even if he has the passion and talent for tutoring, i have major doubts over the real motives of him offering tuition for free.
